Unexpected

As I headed down the road today on my monthly 20 mile jaunt south I fully expected to be spoilt for choice for a good blip today. I thought I had so much choice Turnberry lighthouse, Arran, Ailsa Craig but for various reason it just wasn't happening. Was it my camera not being good enough to cope with the weather changes? The day was calm with intermittent sunshine and so there was a haze out at sea. All the best shots seemed to be while I was driving along and of course no parking up bay. So although the scenery was lovely I didn't think it was photogenic enough today. I didn't want to blame the wee camera. A good workman doesn't blame his tools.
Then I found this more rugged shot at Dunure. It shows what a bit of patience and "off- roading" can achieve.
