obsession fail

I made this photo because I believed that someone i know is obsessed with the number 53. Turns out the correct number is 23. Anyway 23+30 does make 53 :)

On a positive spin the owner stepped out as I was making this photo. He was probably suspicious of a shady character hanging too close to his beloved bakfiets. Anyway we got talking and he assured me that the pretty dutch colored racing stripes are not just for show. The bike has 7 speed shimano gear and a battery assist module, that can propel the bike, its owner and 2 kids at almost 30 kmph if he chooses to. Its no wonder he has seat belts for the kids :)
