Drosophyllum

I've always had a soft spot for carnivorous plants. I blame John Wyndham, and perhaps the BBC for the 1981 version of Day of the Triffids. I believe this is Drosophyllum; a sticky fly trap form of insectivorous plant. But I could be wrong.

The slightly too shallow depth of field shot was taken in the hot house of National Trust Berrington Hall, where we stopped off on our way home from Bromyard Folk Festival. For those who may wish to faint into Mr Darcy's arms, they also had on display the clothing from the 1995 BBC version of Pride and Prejudice. Mr Firth though, not a sign...
