At long last
First an apology for getting things wrong yesterday. A fellow blipper who is a Lecturer on the Alpine Garden Society list has kindly put me right. Those were not "naked ladies" yesterday. The ladies are usually pink. Well they would be (unless they were brown) wouldn't they. I don't recall any who were purple. I believe they were Colchicum speciosum. Anyway people seemed to think they were very attractive.
Todays blip is a story of good and bad. The good is that the headquarters of the Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty ( the old railway station pictured) finally has its solar panels. As they just use power during the day this should be good for them.
Unfortunately it has taken over two years since Mrs. K's Community Interest Company offered a grant to cover much of the cost for all the bureaucratic hurdles to be cleared.
But at last we are there.
