Maxwell Park

The pond in Maxwell was looking almost at its best in the early morning sunshine.  The birds had congregated infront of a lady and her grandson who were distributing bread to ducks, gulls and pigeons.  
The extra photo, which is not particularly good, is of a little grebe.  I've never seen one on the Maxwell Park pond before.  No matter how long I stood the wee bird just wouldn't come near to the edge AND it kept diving and then reappearing in a different place .... not easy for me with my wee point and shoot.
