Toilet stop at the Trident

This is the lobby lounge at the Trident Hotel at Nariman Point, Mumbai.

I haven't been here for quite a few years, preferring to stay closer to the airport when I'm working in Mumbai these days, after traffic jams nearly caused me to miss flights a couple of times. The Trident (formerly the Oberoi Towers) is very nice and situated on the famous Queen's Necklace.

The hotel was also involved in the 2008 Mumbai terrorist attacks. Thankfully, events were far more sedate today. We stopped for a colleague to take a bio break, and I took full advantage of the situation to order a cup of Earl Grey in the lounge.
