Beach at Night

My best friend had to work over in Amelia Island/Fernandina Beach today and rented a hotel room to spend the night before heading back to Gainesville on Saturday. She invited me to join her and I happily accepted. It was pretty late by the time I made it over there, but we went out onto the beach and listened to the waves crash in the darkness. You could barely see out in the water, but the sky was lit up from light pollution back over by the town. This was the view from the beach right behind our hotel.
