Joan - Rivers

Tonight we were meant to see Joan Armatrading at the Kelvingrive Bandstand but it was cancelled due to illness. Agh. With our boy having a few friends round while we were out we found ourselves in the strange position of having to fill time. We went for a walk along the river Kelvin and up to the Glasgow Botanic Gardens. Then we went home collected the dogs and went to watch the meteor shower in the dark in Mugdock Country Park. It was very cloudy so we saw not a thing. We sat on camp chairs, Ange drank fizz and I drank tea from a flask as was driving and listened to the best of Joan Armatrading whilst being bitten by the dreaded midges. By 11.30 we had had enough and returned home to some worse for wear teenagers!!
