SkyRide Coventry Canal

My first night in my new place was very pleasant. I had a good night's sleep and I woke up today energized for my SkyRide in Coventry even when i was very exhausted from yesterday's events.

Oliver and I met in front of Tesco at 9am and cycled to the Skyride venue together. Several other participants were already there by the time we arrived (this was around 935am). It was a fairly moderate and gentle ride going from the Coventry Canal Basin to Hawkesbury Junction (in Extra Photos). There were sunny spells all throughout our ride and the canal (apart from the occassional rubbish in the water) was beautiful. The photo in the blip (credit to Oliver Yang) was the only part of the ride where we have to walk our bikes. The path along the canal was wide enough so there was no case of someone falling into the waters. Today's ride was attended well (there were about 16 us) compared to the last one we did in the Uni.

After coming back from the ride, I had to leave for Leam/Minty again to get the food i left in the fridge. I was back in my new place by 6pm. It was just then that i realized that I couldnt find my tripod and the rest of my dslr accessories in my bags. Apparently, i didnt check the bottom compartment of my desk and all were left in there. I had to message Kenny (the one who drove me yesterday and the one who is occupying my old room in Minty) and ask him to hand them over to me at the uni tomorrow.

And i got my laptop connected to my new place's wifi now. We just had to reset the router and all was sorted. Jasmine was also kind enough to cook for all of us in the house. It was a very good dinner. We had a tomato, onion and egg dish paired with rye bread and cheese.

All in all today was a very good day. Definitely way better than yesterday. And it was even better than my most uneventful days. Today definitely made up for what happened yesterday.

And now i am off to bed! Good night earthlings!
