A right knit

I haven't done this for a while. I am knitting a sweater for my daughter. She has only recently become interested in knitting, and doesn't feel ready yet to embark on something of this scale yet, so I volunteered to knit it for her. It is some years since I last did any knitting, but you never forget how. What I had forgotten is how much I used to enjoy it, as a peaceful relaxation in a busy life.

I love the warm coral colour of the wool my daughter has chosen, and I'm looking forward to a few more similar projects in the months ahead. With the nights starting to draw in and winter on the way, it seems like the right time of year to re-adopt an old hobby.
