Playing for a small audience
Now that the festival is over, the streets in the Old Town are much quieter. However, there are still buskers, caricaturists and arts and crafts vendors attracting the still fairly large amount of tourists visiting Edinburgh.
Technical issues seem to have improved a little bit, by the way. My computer is working fine now. What happened was that there was something preventing my computer from switching off and then it just froze completely. When I eventually managed to switch it off (it took a while) I knew that switching it back on would solve the problem. It did... :)
As for the mobile phone, still not working. I went to Vodafone to enquire about a repair and they told me that it would cost me around £200! Oh dear!! However, on checking my bank account I realised that part of the benefits of it is that I have mobile phone insurance!! :)
Let's hope the insurance covers the damage then. What's annoying me the most now is that I'm flying to Barcelona next week and I don't think the phone will be repaired by then... Great timing!
I've been working all weekend and it's been busy. I wasn't in the mood for photos yesterday but today I took two. This is one of them.
If you have time and want to see the photos I've been taking during the festival feel free to check my albums in my Facebook photography page.
Thanks very much for all your lovely comments and stars. I hope you all had a nice weekend! :)
