The nature of celebrity

Last night we had a discussion on the nature of celebrity.

My unconsidered and badly communicated view is that we should admire them for their achievements but recognise the fact that they are human like the rest of us.

So it was quite nice to read an interview today with Robert P who seems quite uncomfortable with the whole fame thing.

Chores aplenty today. Every single kitchen drawer emptied and cleaned, re-organised and de-cluttered.

I'm not sure how well this transformation was received.
