The Great North Run!

What an absolutely fantastic day volunteering at The Great North Run. I was a 'meet and greet' volunteer for Cancer Research which meant congratulating runners at the finish line, directing them to the Cancer Research tent and so on...and also answering enquiries for everybody else. It was a truly incredible experience, an amazing atmosphere and a privilege to be a part of such a wonderful event. 

We make a living by what we get, but we make a life by what we give.
