Funny Old Day

The Dadski made beef stroganoff in the slow cooker for tea. He put it on early doors this morning, which was a good thing as he subsequently unplugged the slow cooker for the kettle some time in the afternoon! Luckily we noticed in time for a quick blast on high!

Had a scary time with Delilah (pet African Pygmy Hog) today. Noticed she hadn't eaten anything last night, which was worrying. During cleaning her out and lifting her for a bath, I noticed she had a very cold tummy and was rolling into a proper ball :(((((

The Dadski googled hibernation and she had all the symptoms. Unfortunately, this is really serious for African Pygmy's as they don't stock up on food first. We had to warm her up and, luckily, she seemed to perk up again. She's currently in a double fleece bag on top of a hot water bottle. Very scary times. :(((
