The old Vicarage

I went on a heritage walk this morning around the village of Otterton. It has history going back to the year 3,000 BC.
This used to be the local vicarage and is now a care home. I bet the people who live there feel very priviledged to live in such a grand old home. I will be returning to other buildings in the village now I know a bit about their history.
The rain has started in earnest now. Pleased we managed to cut down and dig out a lot of unwanted shrubs this weekend in our garden. They were put in by the developer and are most inappropriate for a small garden.
