Becky's Vigil

It is tiring, not physically, but emotionally to be on vigil.

The others have all gone home. Becky is still staying with Lois and me. She has a flight booked for tomorrow to return to her home.

Lois has been failing all day. When we left for dinner, the nurse told us that Lois was waiting for us to leave. The nurse said, "She's a Mom. She wants to protect her kids".

Lois passed away at 6:16 pm.
