Heritage day...

after the church service i popped round Market Square to see what was going on...this kind lady was explaining and playing the instruments she had gathered round her.

this is a husky munski or some sort name...[if you can help me out with the name i'd be pleased...:))

it is from the fifteenth century and is a violin, as well as the pipes....it sounded quite good actually...

the extra instruments are all from the middle ages...she was quite good at playing them...

i had a go at the harp...and would love to have a little one...what wonderful sound that gives...and so peaceful......

the little laddie was taken with it as well....i love how you can see  it in his face
