Hello autumn

We are having a quiet day at home, catching up on things like more paperwork for the universities and other boring stuff. 

Gavin did chicken on the BBQ for lunch while I took Murdoch for a walk. In between season walks are not very interesting, and whenever I see these fallen acorns it is a reminder that autumn is coming, which should soon make the walks much more interesting. 

A quieter week (thank goodness!), Luke leaves tomorrow to go to Cornwall on holiday with some friends and Gavin goes to the USA for  work, and Adam is on a PT course for most of the week. I do love having the house mostly to myself.
