Warkworth Castle

We returned to Warkworth today to visit the castle. One of the ancestral homes of the Percys.  I've added a couple of extra shots of the castle.

Their main residence is Alnwick Castle, made recently famous for one of the locations used for the Harry Potter films.

After lunch we had a quick walk around the back of Alnwick castle, which I think gives you a great view of the castle. I've added this view with the lion in the foreground.
