Clear blue sky with cotton wool clouds!

It was hard to believe at 4.30 pm yesterday this was the scene in the sky! It looked so serene and indeed it was quiet??? No workmen on a Saturday or Sunday ?
I have just returned from church, and I'm sure the vicar felt less than serene when she was contacted at the 12 th hour! Who ever was on duty had forgotten to put it in their diary? But no matter, the vicar came and took the service ,and lovely too. It is surprising how we can step up to the mark when we need to. So let's hope all those running in the Great North run , and indeed those in wheel chairs too, are able to step up to the mark. Good luck to you all. As we say in our baptism " With the help of God we will !"
