Little Alien

My neighbor called me over today because there was a praying mantis in her front yard.  It was playing a little bit of hide and seek but we were finally able to coax it out for some photos. 

It was a dark and gloomy day so I had to use the onboard flash for some of the pics including this one. I'm not sure why this came out the way it did (no post editing other than a slight crop) but sorta like how it came out.
