Apache, the American Bald Eagle

Oh she is beautiful. Oscar the sealion pup was going to be my blip, but today I was spoilt for choice. Carys was spending the morning with N&P at the British Schools as part of Hitchin's Heritage weekend and then had a party in the afternoon. So after violin (which he did reasonably well at, despite having feet that wouldn't stand still), Will and I headed to Whipsnade ZSL. Rain had threatened but we had a glorious day. He was fantastic, as he can be, and we even went on the train, a big treat these days as they have hiked the prices. He gave me at least three big cuddles through out the day, telling me he loved me and that I was the best Mummy in the whole world. So lovely.
