Friday 4th September

This is going to be a day for lazing about, we awoke to more welcome sunshine but it's not as hot as it has been. 

Just sitting here now, enjoying the sunshine, drinking tea and eating Tunnocks chocolate wafers whilst watching the ever present multitude of birds… Bliss!

Dumfries by-pass is closed for several days, this coupled with our experiences on the M6 last week we have decided to drive back late tonight instead of in the morning.
