Show time

Today we had the autumn show. I managed three firsts, two seconds and a third in six of the eight dahlia classes. Not quite enough points to win the dahlia cup but this is only my second year of showing dahlias so I'm quite pleased. Even more delighted that my damson jam was judged best in the produce section. Also got second places in the two onion classes and in the soft fruits (blackberries and raspberries) and cherry tomatoes. All in all a pretty successful day.
