Bats and Bones

This evening we went for a walk in the mountain foothills. We came across this sheep jaw bone and teeth.

As dusk fell hundreds of bats appeared and swarmed around us and some decided to dive bomb us. It was quite a sight!

When we got home we discovered our nightingale had been eaten by a cat. Oops.
