A Long Day

Well I have started - and it is the first time the fence has been treated since the house was built - 19 years ago.  As a result it is VERY hard work - the wood is just sucking the paint dry as I brush it on. This is the result of two hours labour!

After 9 hours (with just a couple of tea breaks and a 20 minute sandwich break) I had done the outside and half the inside of this fence, plus the outside of a similar sized one on the other side of the house.

I reckon another two days work to finish the insides and then do the boundary fence at the front - will need to get some more paint though!

Forecast not so good for the next few days so it may have to wait a bit.
