Happy Hiking Huskies

It is a beautiful morning in Kansas!

Most weekends my husband, our two dogs, and I go for a hike with a group of friends and their huskies. The grinning husky is Anouk. Anouk also answers to the name Annie (her original rescue name was Annie Lennox). Annie is a small, pulling beast - you should see her work when the weather is cold and she is attached to a mushing scooter! Her team-mate Rennen is an unusual piebald husky. Rennen is reserved with people, but Annie is super-friendly. They are joint leaders in a team of 4 huskies.
