Village on the roadside...

When I came to Malawi 20 years ago, houses were all made of mud and had grass thatch roofs.  Today people try to mould bricks and make a more substantial building, and the sign of prosperity is if there is a tin roof on the house!  This is along the Lilongwe road as I travel once again to Lilongwe for a conference tomorrow!
