Dappled Afternoon

A place to think thoughts,
Where gold rests on leaf and bark -
Dappled afternoon.


Another lovely walk today starting and finishing at Lode Mill ... glorious countryside, open skies and finally the most amazing beech wood (see extras).

Emerging out the wood back onto the waterside the light was just catching this tree ... what a perfect spot for sitting and think thoughts, or sitting and thinking nothing .... equally as good!

As that bear of very little brain said ....
