Huh?

"Are you sneaking pictures?" One of my Thai friends asked suspiciously.

"Yep." I replied. Nothing to hide here.

None of my friends are surprised when I pull out my camera. They seem to expect it. Luckily taking pictures is a big part of the younger generation of Thais. They are always looking for more pictures of themselves to tag on FaceBook.

If I'm ever slow in pulling out my camera when smiles need to be recorded, someone will call over, "Julia, ty roop!" (Take pictures!)
