Squirrel Blip Friday: Mrs. Buddy

I was feeding peanuts to my friend, Notch, in the backyard this afternoon when I saw a black squirrel on the fence.  Buddy usually stays in the front yard because he and Notch don't get along, so I was surprised.  When I got closer I could see that it was a nursing mother.  Buddy was the only black squirrel I had seen in the yard before so we're thinking this could be his mate.  Maybe not, but it's fun to think so.  She was a little nervous about letting me get close but eventually took a peanut from my hand.  It will be interesting to see if she stays around and if we see the babies.  :-)
