While I was taking the kids to music class, this group of youngsters were getting dressed up for a protest against Guantanemo. 25 years ago that would have been me, protesting against cruise at the consulate, or lying in George Square with a bag on my head. Filled me with hope for the future. It should be the first thing the US president elect does, announce he is closing that 'facility'. He has the power and the impetous.
