Opening Lights

The new Tilikum Bridge officially opens on Saturday, but this evening they lit the lights for it. It was paddling night and after we finished, we waited until 9 pm and paddled back out to watch the celebration. There were three boats filled with paddlers, about twenty in each. We lined up right next to one another, with those on the inside holding on to the gunnels of the next boat so we were connected. We stayed like that and watched.
