Stearns Wharf

The view from half way along Stearns Wharf looking back to Santa Barbara, and a gull. We are now very definitely in southern California! The mountain range runs to the right and looks superb.

Skipping breakfast and a relatively early hitting of highway 101 worked well - arriving and settled for an early lunch down at the harbour. A stroll along the boardwalk and the exceedingly long wharf was very pleasant before the pool then beckoned.

Looking forward to the evening sunset and a perusal up state street for a restaurant in the cooler air. Big smoke tomorrow...
