Woke up early again, and watched sunrise up the hill, not long after I got there mum turned up too :)
We drove over to Ambleside, as we'd found a waterfall walk in a book, which also took in views of the Langdales & lake Windermere, quite something!
Ambleside for lunch, back to Chesters for tea & cake on our way home (would have been rude not to!!
Mum & I walked back to the cottage from Coniston village. After a quick stomp up to The coppermines cottages (due to my exploring requirements!) we then headed back down to coniston a different way & back along the lake to our cottage.
Spotted this field on our way down from the coppermines, the sunlight was epic!!
