Back in the Water.

Strange morning today, as I put this swan back in the Water of Leith. I was watching from the office as she tried to take off over the Bernard Street bridge, didn't get high enough,   bounced off the roof of a taxi, and ended up dazed and confused on the pavement. As I got to her, she was coming round but was trying to waddle into the traffic. So I picked her up, carried her off the bridge and let her go back into the water. She seemed to recover.
