I had my first session of 'rehabilitacion' this afternoon. It was in our barrio, an hour long and a combination of familiarization, massage and manipulation and the ultra-sound machine massage. The physio then watched me walking, suggested I should try to keep my foot straight as it's going out the way to avoid putting weight on the sore part, and showed me how to walk with one crutch. Next session on Tuesday.

Bb and I went into the school where I normally work in summer to meet Claire T for a drink on the terrace. I was meant to be running the course this month and she was to be the Assistant Course Tutor (ACT). Instead she's MCT (Main Course Tutor) and Jen, brought in from Belfast is ACT. Anyway, we all met for drinks on the terrace and then Sam (our lovely boss and Head of Teacher Training) joined us. He'd had such a stressful week he had what looked like a pint of white wine!! It was lovely to be there and catch up with them! We were able to use the lift in the building next door (Business English dept) and eventually found out that the floors connect by going up to the 2nd floor in the business dept building and that connects by 'the secret door and code' to the Teacher Training floor next door!

A bite at our local Frankfurter and we fell into bed.
