I am Sailing...

I have had the most wonderful morning enjoying my first sailing lesson out of Mylor. It was awesome. D and I went together but while D ended up going solo in a 'Pico', I was with 2 others and an instructor in a 'Bahia'.

We had a scream on the water - it was windier than expected and the highlights were definitely when Matt demonstrated 'jibing' (I think that's what it was called) and the high speed ride in the rib! We all had a go at helming and tacking - I found tacking really hard so will be trying to get to grips with that before next week. But I loved every second!
