The Missed Sunset
I had a really great evening in Edinburgh with my daughter Euphlette.
We went to Chop Chop Chinese restaurant and had fantastic dimsum and rice dishes.
We had ill advised seconds of pork and coriander dumplings, and crispy beef.
We had completely ridiculous amount of toffee apple slices for pudding!
We had fun and lots of chat.
The evening was only slightly marred by the taxi driver who tried to rub the front off my car.
Allan had texted to draw my attention to the good prospects of a dramatic sunset with a possible subtext of quick pint in the Feathers, but I had a few potential blips already in the laptop and I was in Edinburgh anyway.
When I did arrive at Belhaven Bay, East Lothian, there was a small group of men putting cameras away with Allan sat astride his beach-bike telling me that I had missed the sunset.
NOT a big sunset
I enjoyed the afterglow, though!
