My Lawn

These days I don't need to keep the grass short for the girls to cycle on, or for games of volleyball or badminton! So now I mow a smaller area and pathways through what has become a wild flower meadow. At the moment the this area has turned from green to yellow as the Cat's ear is flowering prolifically and beautiful it looks too!
The sun shone all day today and I spent most of the day gardening, which was very satisfying. I had intended to take a break this year from growing food but couldn't resist growing some of my favourite vegetables, like sweet corn and runner beans!
