Japanese four-lined snake シマヘビ

Oh, there's a caterpillar in that tree... that's pretty big for a caterpillar...Damn it's moving fast.. Snake!!!!

Not the best shot of the day, but the by far the best subject. Really wasn't expecting to see a snake, let alone one overhead.

From tomorrow I'm going to be packing scissors to remove those ever present pieces of blocking foliage.
