Beautiful sight ... bright double rainbow suddenly appeared in front of the car. While I looked out for a place to park it was slowly disappearing.

When a beam of sunlight happens to hit raindrops at a certain angle the different colors that make up the beam separate so that we can see them — in the form of a rainbow.
