Local heron

A familiar sight under the bridge in Bridge of Allan is this heron. But today, maybe because of the hot weather ( yes we do get sunny days in Scotland) he had moved himself upstream  and was sitting on the edge of the Allan water river.

The museum was very quite today, not surprising given the weather, and I did not hang around long.
