Cloudless sulphur

This cloudless sulphur was mighty hungry as it would drink from the canna lily, flutter around a little and come right back for more.

Whitey came over to play ball for a good while but my cats were their energetic selves!  Spirit lounged under the crepe myrtles, Peace hunkered down near the azalea bushes and Neenah sat up on the porch railing.

With the temperatures so hot and with it being so humid, it certainly doesn't feel anything close to fall coming.  To try and get in the mood and to maybe psych myself into thinking it is cooler, I decided to go all out decorating for autumn.  The kitchen table, the living room chest and the front door.  The glare doesn't let you see that there is a brown owl and burgundy leaf between the orange leaf and pumpkin.
