Deep Purple

It has been a lovely bright sunny day here in Angus :-)
The sun was still shining when I closed the shop although the Haar looked as though it was starting to roll in, so no time to waste, I was off to the harbour.
This is the image I got for this week's Abstract Thursday's challenge.
I have put up as an extra the boat painted this rather lurid colour.
I wonder if this was the only paint available in the shop :-)
