Abstract Thursday

Forgot to say I watched a vole foraging in the garden yesterday.  It was too quick for me.

The tiles have stayed down and the screed has gone over the top.  It would have meant new skirting boards, new kickboards and new end panels in the kitchen.  I'm not sorry.  Still can't walk on it but fortunately I can just get from the lounge onto the stairs so not totally cut off.  The kitchen's out of bounds for another hour or so though.  Don't worry, all necessary tea making equipment is in the conservatory except the milk which is languishing on the hearth in the lounge.
