Yes pls!

Pimms by the bay. How incredibly civilised! I got treated to lunch by friend Sandy (great name ;-) today down by the waterfront. The last time we had lunch, we sipped Pimms, which she enjoyed very much and I suggested we do that again ... and why not???

It was beautiful by the bay and we both felt like we were on holiday. What a wonderful place to live, and I don't take it for granted, especially considering the current world situation with refugees in Europe.

Just disheartening and such a huge number of people. We in Asia seem so far away from it although Asia has also seen its own fare share of refugees fleeing from war torn areas, back in the 80s/early 90s.

Thankfully, lots of goodwill being shown by ordinary folk who are moved by the desperation. That's so encouraging to see.
