The Marketplace

Today my friend Karen took me to lunch at one of our favorite places, The Cheese Importers.  It started several years ago as just that but has evolved over the years to include a small restaurant (with great food) and a lovely and very colorful marketplace with all sorts of imported kitchen and food-related items.  The main feature is a huge walk in refrigerator with hundreds of varieties of cheese, many of which can be sampled.  The public is invited to stroll through the refrigerator and they even provide jackets which can be worn inside. It's always a fun way to spend an afternoon.

I almost forgot to give the answer to yesterday's mystery flower.  It is on the seed part of the Basil plant, the part that you pinch off if you want the Basil to keep growing. I've grown Basil for years and always just pinched it without paying attention to the tiny flowers.
