Tree of Birds

This morning we hiked around Bodega Head, a promontory that protects Bodega Harbor. Big open views of the ocean and the rocky cliffs below. A beautiful clear day, and not too windy--unusual for this place nicknamed Blow-dega. Film buffs will know that The Birds was filmed here, but I don't think these guys were part of the cast. Lunch was a locally famous clam chowder from Spud Point Crab Company, a nice follow-up to last night's barbequed oysters.
