A Day at the Races ❤️

....The weather today would have been ok if it hadn't been for the biting North East wind. We went exploring first thing after breakfast (Full English)......Yesterday we walked along the River Eden and looked up at the magnificent viaduct, today we walked along the footpath at the top of the viaduct, next to the railway line. We had fantastic views down the valley towards Carlisle. The Nasturtium had seeded itself along the side of the railway track ❤️
We spent the day at Carlisle racetrack,a very pretty track with amazing views over the Lake District......The dahlias were in wonderful plant pots dotted around the racecourse......Xx (It was so cold....I didn't bring a coat and took hours to thaw out afterwards).....!!
